2 Adult Fiction & 1 Novella

It has been a long week with finishing watching 2 TV programs, reading 2 adult fiction books, and 1 novella!

I have read

  1. The Librarianist by Patrick deWitt

  2. Animal Farm by George Orwell

  3. 1984 by George Orwell

I think I have enjoyed reading 1984 the most.  The Librarianist was what I was expecting the book to be, but it was still good at the end of the day.  I am currently reading Just Last Night by Mhairi McFarlane and it is about a friend group and a friend who has just recently passed away.

This week’s vlog took a little less effort to edit but getting the ratio of the footage back to its original was something else to figure out!

It is summer now and that means that there are festivals back in the park where we can get loads of great food and treats all weekend! This weekend it is the International Food Festival so having the ability to go and to experience new foods and twists on the old classics is always the best way to go!

I am excited that I have kept reading, that I am reading a whole new range of books and that I have been given a chance to read classic books like 1984.  I was thinking of reading some Jane Austen, but I am not too sure.  I am not too sure which one I would even read first but I know that there will always be a good choice when I do choose to read them.  Do you have any suggestions as to which Jane Austen book I should read first?

I did have a great week with going away overnight and then coming home but I think the thing that I enjoyed the most was reading Just Last Night; I am going to read some more today but I do not think that we are going to finish it today, but I do plan on reading a chunk out of it.

I am currently trying to finish watching this one TV show as well.  I made the mistake of starting to watch 5 TV shows at one time so I am working my way through finishing them all off one by one that way I don’t need to worry or think about TV at all and can just focus on different things like reading and enjoying my life!
