I am happy to announce that this week I have finished 2 books and I am currently on my way to finishing a book next week!
I started the week not thinking if I was going to finish a book at all and I concluded my week by finishing a book!
I spent my morning in the parking getting more into Confessions of a Curious Bookseller by Elizabeth Green. This book has really whisked me away at this moment in time. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I have but I do. I have ¾ of the story left but I have been laughing and have had a smile on my face the whole time that I have been reading this book. I would recommend this book even though I haven’t finished it yet. I mean it is so funny. The things that come out of Fawns mouth are ridiculous but in fact they are not coming out of her mouth they are being written down in emails and in her journal for everyone to see! It is funny, why she would even say things like this is so funny.
I finished reading This Song is (Not) For You by Laura Nowlin which is the same author of If He Had Been with Me which is a fantastic book that I would suggest to everyone to read. I read both books on the Hoopla application which means that I read them on either my phone or my tablet that I have. I haven’t really read a whole lot of books digitally before, but I a happy that I have! I am excited that I have read these books. I have a lot of books that are more in a digital format, but I haven’t really used them at all, but I am happy that I am starting now. I just remembered that I have a bunch of Taylor Jenkin Reid books that I haven’t yet, but I want to, and it will be amazing if I have all of it now and that I can be reading them. I am going to be reading those books through the Kobo application, I am not sure when I will be reading them, but the point is, is that I can when I want to!
I finished One Step Behind by Lauren North, and I must say that I was one step behind the entire time as well. The book was good, but it was open ended in a way which is good but its not like there is going to be a sequel to it which is fine with me.
I guess I am just proud of myself for finally finishing not 1 but 2 books and I have another one on the way which I think I will be able to finish by the end of the week. I think I am back on the ‘saddle’ with being 2 books down & 1 on the way. I hope that I will be able to get this book finished by the end of the week!
