Fun Fact

If Pinocchio says “My Nose Will Grow Now”, it would cause a paradox.

This is known as Pinocchio’s Paradox.

If you think about it, Pinocchio’s nose would have to grow to make his statement not a lie, but then it can’t grow otherwise the statement would not be a lie.

History Fact

In 1386, a pig was executed in France.

There wasn’t a great detail of civil rights in the Middle Ages, and as it turns out there weren’t a great of animal rights either. So much so that they were even subject to human justice.

One such case happened in Falaise, France, where a pig attacked a child’s face who went on to later die from their wounds.

The pig was arrested, kept in prison, and then sent to court where it stood trial for murder, was found guilty, and then executed by hanging!

Weird Laws

(As the Matt’s Bar website puts it, “If it’s spelled correctly, you just might be eating a shameless ripoff!”)

About 75 percent of all orders here are for the famous burger.

He also grew a real scraggly beard for scenes of Valjean as a prisoner, though mercifully they were shot first in production and he could shave and return to his usual weight for scenes playing Valjean as a wealthy man.
