Joke of the Day
No matter how hard you push the envelope it will still be stationery.
A baby spider is called a spiderling.
Spiders aren’t cute, but this name kind of is! Spiderling is the official name for immature spiders.
On top of that, spiderlings are often born in groups of thousands!
Captain Morgan was a real guy.
He was also a real captain, too!
The face of the much-loved rum brand was a Welsh privateer who fought against the Spanish alongside the English in the Caribbean.
His full name was Sir Henry Morgan, and was knighted by King Charles II.
Captain Morgan died in 1688 in Jamaica as a very wealthy man.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
After first completing the arduous 600-foot climb on Ireland's Skellig Michael island, Mark Hamill had hoped that he could avoid having to repeat the trek for additional scenes if he could somehow remain on the summit overnight, thus forfeiting the luxury of room service at his hotel. However, after some inquiries were made with the Irish authorities, he was told by producer Kathleen Kennedy that he was not permitted to pitch a tent because the location is a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site.
If you had a chance to eat dessert for breakfast every day, what dessert would you choose?
What Era Do You Wish You Had Lived In?
Because one of the popular weird laws for a lot of states goes something along the lines of no honking at sandwich shops at these oddly specific hours on a Sunday, it is with great joy that I bring you Section 18-55 of Little Rock’s Code of Ordinances -- current as of March 2017 -- which states that No person shall sound the horn on a vehicle at any place where cold drinks or sandwiches are served after 9pm. (Also, no, it’s not illegal to mispronounce the state’s name. Just discouraged.)
Mac and Cheese at Blue Plate in San Francisco
Everyone's favorite comfort food is done up right at Blue Plate. For this mac, a creamy béchamel sauce is flavored with Spanish drunken goat cheese and a touch of Tabasco before being tossed with the pasta and broiled to create an extra-crispy top.
It's not necessarily super traditional, but it is wildly cheesy.
