Honeybees can recognize human faces.

They see faces in a compilation of 5,000 individual images – kind of like pixels.

History Fact

During the Victorian period, it was normal to photograph relatives after they died.

People would dress their newly-deceased relatives in their best clothing, and then put them in lifelike poses and photograph them.

They did this to preserve one last image of their dead loved one in a strange form of commemoration.

Movie/TV Trivia

Million Dollar Baby

Hilary Swank contracted a bacterial infection from a blister she developed on her foot during training for her role. The infection was so serious that she almost had to be hospitalized for three weeks. Catching the infection in the nick of time, she instead chose to take a week off for medicated rest and didn't tell Clint Eastwood or the other producers of the film about the injury, because she didn't believe it was in character.

Tuna Eyeballs – Japan

Although it sounds nasty, apparently it’s rather tame, tasting pretty similar to squid or octopus. None of the gunk you’d normally associate with slicing up eyeballs then?
