6 Graphic Novels Down!

I have read 6 graphic novels this week and they are well done.  I am keeping 3 of them and donating 3 of them back to the wonderful bookstore.

The 6 graphic novels that I have read this week are….

  1. Star Wars Dark Times Volume One The Path to Nowhere by Mick Harrison

  2. Star Wars Dark Times Part Five Out of the Wilderness by Randy Stradley

  3. Star Wars Rebel Jail by Jason Aaron & Kieron Gillen

  4. Buffy The Vampire Slayer Freefall by Joss Whedon

  5. The Incredible Hulk: Plant Hulk by Greg Pak

  6. Son of Hulk Dark Son Rising by Paul Jenkins

I am happy that I have read them and own them now, but I will have to wait and see what time states and how they will stay with me.

I am happy that I picked them up.

As always after I bring home a bunch of books from the bookstore, I always think that I need to become more digital.  It does take a lot more effort to bring them home and then to bring them back to the store.  I mean it does add to a bit of a muscle-building exercise but I would rather come home with nothing so I can just be able to have less in my life.  I would much rather be fancy-free of all the things that I own at the end of the day.

Less is more and with how digital technology is, it is better to have nothing than it is to have something because well a lot of digital things take up less physical clutter, I think.

This is the argument that is very present in this day in age, physical versus digital clutter!

I am very happy that I am in the privileged position where I can work at a library as well as the bookstore so I can borrow books and see what new things are out there.  I am also privileged that I can get first dibs on a lot of items that do happen to come into the store as well!  It is a golden age of media right now or a transition I think due to people becoming more digital and therefore getting rid of everything that they do own so now is the perfect time to start collecting things, I think!
