Work

It seems today that we are working to live instead of living to work.


I think that we should be allowed to live our lives in the way that we want to be living versus having our lives be dictated about the work that we are doing. We should be allowed to work at a time that is more beneficial to us and not when society deemed it to be so.


Work is work and I think that if we are getting the work done that it shouldn’t matter when it gets done if t meets all the deadlines necessary.


I find that a lot of the work that I have done in my life didn’t need to get done between the hours of 9-5pm but that is the time that I ended up having to work which isn’t something that I rather enjoyed in my life. I have been able to get a lot of work done but if nothing else it has made me to have a more structured evening so I can be sure that all my work gets done during the evening so that way I am getting the most out of my evening.


I have heard that you only have 2-3 hours of actual solid work in you, so I like to try to make sure that while I am at home, and I have recuperated form the day’s work that I have a good hour working on the things that I want to be working on in my life.


For example, if I want to take part in a craft show then I need to spend at least one hour a day making sure that I am working on my crafts so I can create items to be sold at this craft show. If I want to be a booktuber on YouTube, then I must spend the time reading a book.


If you are unhappy with the position that you have in life, then you need to take the time to look at your resume and cover letter as well as the job market before you even start to look for a job. Once you start to apply to work then you need to be applying to jobs until you find the job that is right for you.


Setting a side, the time or creating the habit is the best thing that you need to be doing to make sure that it is consistent so that way you can always be able to work on the goals that are putting yourself forward so you can accomplish everything that you want to accomplish.


Of course, you want to be taking the time out for yourself to be doing the things that you want to be doing but whatever it is that keeps you going, I suggest that you take at least one hour a day or night to spend working on the things that matter to you most and that you are moving forward to the completion of your goals. Try to be as specific as you can be when you are goal setting and what you are going to do today to help it move forward.
