A 3 Book Week!

This week I have read 3 books!  Well one book, listen ted to 1 audio book and the 3rd was a short story but non the less, I have completed 3 books in one week!  This is so unheard of!  I haven't had a successful week like this one in a long time and I feel so good about it!  This week I have read…..

  1. Say You'll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez

  2. Promise me Sunshine by Cara Bastone

  3. The Conjurer's Wife by Sarah Penner

This is what I thought of each one!

Say You'll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez

This book is another banger from Abby Jimenez. It is really great how love will find a way if you let it.the book switches between Xavier and Samantha. They go on a great date with each other, but the next day, Samantha is moving back home in California to be with her mom and family, as her mom has dementia and needs help from the whole family.Xavier who is tied to his veterinarian practice in Minnesota can't leave at this moment in time due to the bills of school and opening up his own business but after a year or so of dating, the two decide to get married and luck would have it that it works out for Xavier to have his practice in Minnesota stay open and open up a new one in California.

Promise me Sunshine by Cara Bastone

This book is about finding the sunshine through grief and how great it is to have someone be there for you who really understands what you are going through and how that can make you feel better. There is a romance element to it that you will have to read about yourself, and a spicy scene near the end.How the book started to where it ended wasn't what I anticipated, and I did want a little more from the story itself, but I am fully satisfied with how it all unfolded and ended. I am really excited about this book, and it gives me hope for when I experience grief that there will be someone who can promise me sunshine.I hope that when times are rough that someone can be there for you to promise you sunshine as well!

The Conjurer's Wife by Sarah Penner

This short story is about a conjurer and his wife who go from town to town performing a show for everyone. His wife ends up exploring in her downtime and ends up finding out some truths about her husband that she wasn't supposed to know. Was she something that he conjured?

I am happy with what I have read this week, and I am looking forward to reading a whole bunch more, which is going to be fantastic.  I know that it is unrealistic in a way for me to read this much in one week going forward, but one can hope!  I am working on trying to find some balance between work, reading, and spending time with my partner, among other things!

Happy reading, everyone and we'll catch you all on the next Dippit!
