Book Hauls & Graphic Novels

I have read 8 books this week and I have hauled 7 books this week.

I feel very much in the red when it comes to books because I have more on my TBR than ever before.

I have read this week the following books

  1. Dune by Frank Herbert

  2. Anne of Green Gables a Graphic Novel by Mariah Marsden

  3. Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid

  4. Wonka by Sibeal Pounder

  5. Starport by George R. R. Martin

  6. Blackward by Lawrence Lindell

  7. Ruined by Sarah Vaughn, Sarah Winifred Searle and Niki Smith

  8. The Wishing Game by Meg Shaffer

I hauled the following books

1. Maple by Agatha Christie

2. The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazlewood

3. Red Rising by Pierce Brown

4. The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez

5. Hooked by Emily McIntire

6. Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

7. Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan

8. 1884 by George Orwell

It is a lot, but I want to read them all.  I think I am most excited about getting Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan because it is the same cover art and size as Crazy Rich Asians and China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan which means now I have a trilogy that is the same.  As a book collector of sorts, this is the best thing ever.

I have read a punch of graphic novels this week which is good, and I have found out about a few more different graphic novel applications which is always a blessing as I am getting into graphic novels.  Reading graphic novels is a great way to boost your reading score as well as there are always so many of them and they are short in size.

Short stories are another way of getting your book number to count as they are, well frankly short.  I am excited to get into those potentially soon as well.

I have always been a fan of audio books but have never steadily stayed interested in them, but I am hoping that by listening to Dune I will be able to get back into them and listen to the other Dune books as well.

Reading has so many different benefits that I cannot stress enough how amazing reading is.

I guess one of the reasons why I am so happy to have so many different books is because when it comes to gift-giving occasions it is nice to be able to go to my TBR shelf and to give some away as gifts.  I am excited about that.

I do plan on reading some more tonight which is good, and I hope that I can read a bunch more by the end of the day as well.

It is exciting to see what books I do end up getting and keeping with me and I never know how much or little I will read in one week but please stay tuned on this journey with me and see!
