Finished a Book and a Craft

This week has been busy with a small amount of reading done.  I mean I did finish a book and start 2 new ones which is great, and I finished a baby blanket so maybe I shouldn’t be too hard on myself.

I have finished Beach Read by Emily Henry, and her new book comes out the day after my birthday which is a much-appreciated belated birthday present.  It is called Funny Story which I think I do say a lot and a cute book that I can’t wait to read.  The antics that must be in this story are very anticipatory.

I have tried to put a little bit extra editing to this week's vlogs, and only once did I forget to turn the microphone on which does suck but I mean I was able to muddle through it and record something after the fact!  The power of what happens behind the scenes!  Please let me know in the video's comments what you think of how the vlog is being edited.  I mean I didn’t add any new music in the background like I did last week but I have added new pictures.

I have worked on my intro and outro this week so that will be something to look forward to next week, I think.

I am happy that I finished off the baby blanket, I don’t have anyone in mind for it just yet, but I am sure that I will be able to find someone whom I can give it too shortly.

I have another craft project on the go, but I haven’t done anything about it this week which I think is fine, but I do need to get cracking on it if I ever want to finish it.  It does feel a bit overwhelming all that I need to do for it to consider it finished but it will be worth it in the end, I think.  Getting started on anything is hard but once you get going, the rest will follow into place.

I received my book of the month order this week and I have started to read Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross this week as well as One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid.  I think that I will be able to finish both this week, which I think is great.  I don’t normally read 2 books at once, but I do like Taylor Jenkins Reid, and I recently found out that it got turned into a movie which is part of the reason why I wanted to read it so I could watch the movie.  I hope that it does its justice.

I know that I will be reading Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross next which is the sequel to Divine Rivals.

The cold has finally come, and it looks like it is here to stay which is great because all I want to do is to cozy up inside and read a book, so it works out great that I now have 2 books to read.

I have my Nanoleaf lights back up in a new configuration so making my reading area more cozy is always something that I do like and prefer!  Anything to make my reading space more inviting!
