Finishing The Lost Apothecary

The Lost Apothecary

I have finished a book this week! I feel like I am back on track with what I need and should be doing with my life! Well, to be a successful booktuber I need to at least at the very bare minimum read one book a week and I have done that!

It wasn’t that hard to read The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner. This book was very well written, 4.5 out of 5 stars for me. I would recommend this book to everyone. I would dare say that I prefer this book to The London Seance Society by Sarah Penner. Usually, you don’t tend to like an author’s first book over their second but maybe because I read the 2nd one first, I was able to appreciate The Lost Apothecary more!

The ending was wrapped up in a neat little bow and I really did appreciate it. The only thing I didn’t really like is that there are some things that are left up to the imagination. Like what is going to happen to the Apothecary now that it has been discovered? Why and how has it been able to sit undisturbed for over 200 years? There I have some of my questions but know that I do have more but I just don’t want to give more away.

If I wasn’t that busy, I would have just gotten busier! I am now going to be working 6 days a week and well Friday is now my only evening off so I am going to find it hard to get reading in, but I will always make sure that I can read as that is what is most important.

I have decided to do something new and that would be a Dippit of the benefits of reading every day. I want to make sure that everyone knows that there is really a good reason to read every day. There are always reasons why you should be reading but there are countless ones that I want to see how many different ones that I can come up with and find!

I will be making a list of them all, so I won’t be repeating them. I don’t want to be a broken record, but I feel like I will always find a way to say the same thing but in a different way which is somehow different!

I didn’t really get anything done on my knitting, but it is something that I am working on, as I want to make sure that it gets done in good time so I can move onto other crafts. I want to be able to finish some of the projects that I am working on now so I can start making some projects for a craft table that I am hoping to have for a Christmas craft show.

Life can get busy, but I want to make sure that I am taking the time out for myself and that I am doing the things that I need and want to be doing! I am very happy that I am making the time to read, and I think you should as well!
