Great Big Beautiful Life + More

I have had a successful reading week with reading 3 books despite having a cold due to burn out again!

I was able to get Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry read which I think is the best thing ever.  It was a fantastic read.  This is what I thought about it.

Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry

I love it when the title of the book makes its way into the book itself, it is such a precious moment.Alice and Hayden are hired by Margaret Ives to write her autobiography. Margaret isn't sure which journalist she wants to go with, so each of them is interviewing her separately and is going to present their book idea to her in one month. Both have signed an NDA and cannot share their findings even with each other. They both know that she is lying to them, but are they telling the same lies?Of course, Alice and Hayden fall in love, but when Alice finds out something about Margaret and cannot share it with Hayden, she falls about and leaves. Hayden finds her and is willing to uproot his life to live in the same city as Alice so they can be together. Ultimately, Alice and Hayden decide to write the book together once the big reveals and the secrets come out.

I also listened to The Things We Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros and it is a lot like Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid.  I think that it is worth the read!

The Things We Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros

This book is about the fabulous romance of another Scarlett Stanton. She has passed away, leaving one book unfinished and her estate to her granddaughter, Georgia. Georgia's mother would like to have this book published, so she has hired an author, Noah, to finish it.The book goes between the present day of Georgia and Noah's banter over this unfinished book and Scarlett and Jameson's romance, which the unfinished book is based on.As we find more about Scarlett's romance, the budding relationship between Georgia and Noah grows. They were enemies to lovers, but trust gets built, and their romance does as well!Noah wrote 2 endings and was going to put the one in, with bad reviews, but at the last minute, Georgia put in the other ending, and it ended up being the best ending yet.

I also finished listening to We’ll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han which is the third and last book in the Summer series.  I would recommend this series for sure.  At first I wasn’t sure what I was going to think but I ended up loving it.

We’ll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han

This is a great and final instalment of the Summer series.Belly and Jeremiah have been dating for two years, and this is Belly's first year in college. Luckily, they both go to the same college.Jeremiah goes to Cabot on spring break with some friends. Jeremiah and Belly are on a break, and Jeremiah sleeps with someone else.Belly always knew that they would get back together, but Jeremiah didn't, which is why he did it.Due to this, it leads the two to get engaged. They plan to get married in Cousins. During the planning Conrad confesses his love for Belly to each of the separately. This is part of why Jeremiah and Belly called off their wedding last minute.A few years later, Belly and Conrad end up getting married as cousins!

I am happy that I read these books this week and I am looking forward to another full week of reading!

Happy reading everyone!
