How important is language that you use? Really how much does language really matter in life? Do the words that you say really do matter? How do the words that you say to yourself really matter?
Honestly, I always go back and forth on this one. I do believe that words do matter, but I don’t always think that they matter as much as they do.
What are more important words or perspective?
I think that if you think that you are a victim and bad things always happen to you then bad things will always happen to you, things will always happen. Sometimes things do just happen. Sometimes you will get what feels like every red light on your way to your destination. Sometimes accidents do happen. There are always things that happen that make you feel that everything is going wrong but well there is always positives that do happen. There are always good things that do happen at the end of the day.
I think that if you tell yourself that you are awful that you might end up believing it which is something that you don’t want to happen.
Words do matter and how often you do tell yourself them.
At the end of the day, you do matter, and you are the 1% of people that will succeed in life and will get everything that you want out of life. You will get what you want, you are deserving of it. Just think how lucky and privileged your life is.
You always want to be nice to others and say what you mean and mean what you say. You never know what will happen down the road and how you might need them to help, so you want to be able to say really nice things to others. The whole golden rule of do onto others as you would want to do to you.
Try to take five words out of your vocabulary and insert five new ones and see what happens. You might end up being surprised.
Try not to swear as they usually don’t add to the conversation, and you don’t want a swear to slip out while you are with friends, family, work or around little ones.
Try to be kind to yourself and others!
