I have spend the weekend with family and have had three big meals. Two breakfasts and a dinner. I feel for the dinner I generally ate well but I had dessert and it was a big dessert, I definitely ate more for dessert then I needed and should have wanted to. I had a great breakfast this morning but I have over done it on the desserts today as well. I want to go have a snack now but well I am not hungry so I shouldn’t be eating and we haven’t had dinner tonight either. If I need to eat I should be reaching for produce, we do have a lot of produce but honestly if I am not hungry then I shouldn’t be eating and what ever space that I do have in my belly I should be waiting to fill until we have dinner. If we don’t end up having some dinner and I do become hungry then I can be eating the snacks that I want to be eating.
Above is what I honestly want to be doing and hopefully will stick to my diet plant.
One of the things that I have done is that I have gone through my cupboard of items and I have gotten rid of some items and definitely have something ready for donations. I now just need to walk over my donations over to the donation centre which shouldn’t be a problem I don’t think.
I think that I have done a lot of decluttering and it isn’t just the fact that we live in an apartment but I think that part of my problem with food is that I feel that we have so much stuff regarding a kitchen but we don’t ever use any of it. As well we have a bunch of stuff in our cupboards that we call a pantry. We in general of way to much clutter. I hope that over the next few months I will be able to get rid of more and more stuff that we don’t need. I know that I don’t use a lot of stuff as I am not a cook and I live with someone so I do need to ask if what we have is ok before getting rid of it so that way we are always on the same page.
I do hope that at one point in time we can be on the same page with a lot of things and get rid of it. I have brought in a lot of the food and kitchen clutter and I am happy that I am able to get rid of a lot of the clutter as well.
I hope that a lot of the clutter that I have gotten rid of I will take away from the mental stress that I have and will making eating better more easily as I will not have a lot of items laying around taking up space in my mind or in my cupboards.
