This Week on The Books

Well, I did finish 3 books and I started 2 books.

I finished reading The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley, Survive The Night by Riley Sager and The Love Con by Seressia Glass.

I have started reading Billy Summers by Stephen King and Camp Zero by Michelle Min Sterling.

I have unhauled 9 books and I have 6 on my current TBR for the rest of the month of June.

I am done with thrillers for the rest of the month, and I am moving on to greener pastures as you might say. I have just had enough of them and am craving a little bit more and different in my life because I was feeling with the thrillers that I kept trying to finish this video for so long and kept adding books in and newer books kept coming up that I wanted to read more that I wanted to read first that when I was reading Billy Summers it kept going in one eye and out the other. I was reading it, but I really wasn’t reading it at the same time. I just want to be able to read what I want to read when I want to read it and move on. The last thing I want to do is force myself to read a book that I don’t want to read, and I most certainly do not want to get into a reading slump.

I understand that there will always be books out there that I want to read and that I can’t read them all.

I find that because I work at the library, and I am volunteering at a bookstore where I can get books for free and a very small amount that I have way more access to books than I absolutely need. I do not need this many books. I honestly do not have all the space in my house to have all these books either. I pick them up in the hopes that I will read them but because I have waited so long to read them, I have simply lost so much interest in reading them honestly.

I am happy to deliver all these books to mini libraries and hopefully I can make someone else’s day that much better by getting one of these books!

At the bookstore where I volunteer, if you want to have books to fill your mini library, we can give you a box of books for free. Just let us know which type of books you would like to have for your mini library!

I am happy with the books that I have chosen to read now, and I am honestly looking forward to the next few weeks when I can finish reading them. I am very happy with what I have chosen. I have six books to read this month and they are Every Summer After by Carley Fortune, The Greek Escape by Karen Swan, The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner, Ink Blood Sister Scribe by Emma Torzs, What Lies in the Woods by Kate Alice Marshall and Camp Zero by Michelle Min Sterling. Of course, I have Billy Summers by Stephen King as a backup, but I have my work cut out for me in a good way!
