1 Book, 1 Craft, 1 Concert 1, Mess & 1 Migraine later

This week I have only read 1 book, but I also had 1 mess to clean up that turned out to be 2 messes to clean up, 1 migraine which now has progressed into another one and 1 concert as well as 1 craft later which is all that I can take for one week!

I am just wanting to get cozy and to take a nap underneath some blankets, but I am not too sure if I can.

I do want to be able to just enjoy being warm and cozy, but I think that getting migraines really hinders my ability to stay warm and to do what I want to be doing.

I do want to read a lot of books by the end of the year, but I am not to sure if I can do that.  I just need to buckle down and do it.

This week I have read 1 book, and I will let you know what I thought about it below.

The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum

I have finally read this classic book, and I am happy that I have. The book is very different from the movie that came out in 1939.Dorthy comes to Oz in a cyclone and the house lands on the wicked witch of the east in munchkin land. Dorthy needs to go to Emerald City to get the wizard to help her get back to Kansas.

On the way there, Dorthy meets the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion. Together they adventure to Emerald City where they find the wizard to be a fraud. But first the wizard tasks them to capture the wicked witch of the West which Dorthy does.Dorthy and her friends find the good witch of the North to help Dorthy get home and each of her companions become the kings of their own respective lands of those people who helped them along the way. Dorthy ends up where she started with her family.

Overall, the book is solid, and I do like it and I am interested in listening to the other 13 in this series if I can get my hands on them.

I am hoping that I can have more of a great week with lots of reading and I am able to do some other things, but I am not too sure what is going on.
