A Shore Thing by Portia MacIntosh

This book is about a reality show called Welcome to Singleton where contestants are trying to find their mate.Lucky and Chloe are in charge of finding contestants for the show.This season is going to be really different, Lucky wants everything to be more manufactured story lines and have the contestants be influences where Chloe wants everything to be more natural and less manufactured.Due to this, Lucky and Chloe end up on the reality TV show as contestants but are only supposed to be there for one day and be replaced but a bad storm happens on the island that they are on and they are stuck.Everyone things that the cameras are off line due to the story but Lucky finds out that they aren't and doesn't tell anyone. Chloe finds this out after she has fallen in love with him and before they are leaving off of the island.What happens next can't be a shore thing right?

Finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover

This novella is super cute. I didn't read the other books in this series but I am glad that i did read this one.The book is told from Daniels perspective, he is in high school and is not assigned a fifth period so he hides in a storage closet so the administration doesn't find him and fixes the issue where one day he finds another student who is in there already but they don't turn the light on so they know who the other student is. After a few encounters in the closet they end up having sex and that is the last time the girl ends up meeting Daniel in the closet.A year goes by and Daniel is at a friends house where he meets this girl named Six, he has an instant attraction to her. They end up dating and after a month he figures out that she is the girl from the storage closet that he had nic named Cinderella.It turns that Six got pregnant from that encounter but no one knew about it because she had a seven month exchange in Italy. When the baby was born, she was 18 so she gave him up for adoption. After discussing this in detail they end up still staying together and are going to go to the same college together in the fall and are going to see where it goes!

I really liked both books, they both in certain aspects where a bit predictable but I did enjoy listening to the both of them.  I would recommend them if you wanted to have some close proximity romances.
