2 More Books Read

This week I have done, I guess you could say a lot of reading but I haven’t done a lot of filming.  I need to get back in the habbit of filming more which is what I would prefer and like to be doing.

Part of the problem is that it has been so cold outside that having the heat on is necessary and we have base heating so it is very noisy when it is on.  I am hoping that over the next frew weeks it will warm up enough to the point where we don’t need to have the heat on so much.

This week I have read 2 books and they are…

1. Mate by Ali Hazelwood

2. Rinkitink in Oz by L. Frank Baum

This is what I thought of each one.

Mate by Ali Hazelwood

This book just wasn't for me. I considered DNFing it a few times and at the end I kind of felt like I wasted my time reading it.We have Serena who is a half breed when it goes to being hybrid and an Alpha get together and have a spicy romance and Koen teaches Serena the ways of his pack. They do have a rocky relationship and Serena is having a hard time knowing what she should do as she wasn't brought up in this environment, she was raised by humans. The real question is whether or not Serena is going to let Koen give her the mate bite to make their relationship official.

Rinkitink in Oz by L. Frank Baum

This has to be my least favourite book out of the series for sure. Not a lot happens but the stories are becoming very predictable where some one either changes form or happens to come to the world of Oz and needs to go to the Emerald City to get Ozma to transformed back into their original form or to get sent back home.In this book we are following Inga, Rinkitink and Bill Bill who need to go to the Emerald City. Rinkitink has some good songs but is very annoying and is the king of one of the towns. Inga is along for the journey but Bo Bo a prince has been transformed into the goat and needs to become human again.Ozma, Betsy Bobbin and Dorothy of course are in Oz and are having a great time and have a banquet in the honour of the 3 that arrive there.

Overall, its not to bad of a week for reading, reading 2 per week isn’t that bad but at the same time I potentially could have had it be 3 if I just worked harder on it.

Until next week, happy reading everyone!
