Below are my thoughts on the books.

The Patchwork Girl of Oz by L. Frank Baum

I think this is one of my favourite Oz books so far.We have Ojo the unlucky who travels with his Uncle Nookie to the crooked magicians and Margalot's place. The crooked magician spent the last 6 years brewing a dust so Margalot could create a servant for the house. The patchwork girl and was created out of a old quilt, there was enough dust left over to make this class cat that is transparent and has pink brains to come alive.The class cat, the Scrape (the patchwork girl) and Ojo leave the crocked magician's place to travel to Oz to get 5 ingredients for the magician as, Margalot and Uncle Nookie have been turned to stone.Along the many adventures the gang meets Princess Dorothy, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow. For being good and being lucky and learning lessons along the way Ozma brings Margalot, Uncle Nookie and the crocked Magician to Oz and turns Margalot and Uncle Nookie back to human form as a thank you.

Tic Tok of Oz by L. Frank Baum

This book is alright and I can't complain about it. It is just that Tic Tok really isn't in the book at all.Ozma sends out Tic Tok to help save the lands of Oz, once done that on his adventure Tic Tok runs into the shaggy man who has made friends with Betsy Bobbin and her donkey Hank.They also run into the Shaggy mans brother who had a curse put on him to look ugly but the curse was broken and he went back to looking handsome.Ozma brings Betsy and Hank back to Oz as the Shaggy Man wouldn't have come otherwise. Betsy, Dorothy and Ozma become friends and their animal friends argue about who is the best. Ozma has to step in and let them know that they don't need to argue because they are all the best.Dorothy figures out that Toto can talk just like all of the other animals who come to Oz like Belinda. After some encouragement Toto does say something and then runs off.

The Scarecrow of Oz by L. Frank Baum

This book follow Captain Bill and Trot who were fell off the boat that they were on, and went into a chasm underwater. There they meet Orc who brings them up to the surface and to an island.Orc is quite hilarious and ends up taking the 2 to the land of Jinx in Oz.There they meet King Cruel who makes Captain Bill a grasshopper.Trot meets Button Bright and together they go to the Emerald City to get Ozma to turn Captain Bill back into a human. Glenda the Good sends the Scarecrow to help the children on their journey to Ozma.

Over all the books were great.  I am working on finishing Mate by Ali Hazelwood, but I am going to get there soon!
