This week I have been productive with my reading and I have read 3 books this week.  2 Audiobooks and 1 physical book and I am happy to get the physical book out of my area and that I have finished it!

Mortal Engines by Philip Reeve

This book is based in the future where all towns and city's are moving entities, the bigger ones are eating up the smaller ones to make themselves bigger and to consume them for the materials that they have.Tom is on London and another town is being eaten which doesn't matter much anymore. On this town, Hester Shaw is on and Tom meets her. Hester wants to kill Valentine the mayors hand for what he did to her parents but Hester gets knocked over the side of London onto the ground below. When Valentine learns what Tom knows of Hester, he pushes Tom over as well.Tom and Hester work together to get back onto London and to get justice for what happened to her parents.While these 2 are off the ship, Katherine, Valentines daughter finds out the real type of man that her father really is. This allows her to help Tom, Hester and the band of pirates that come on board at the end to create full and final justice to all the people of London.

The Night We Met by Abby Jimenez

This book is another banger by Abby Jimenez.We are following Chris and Larissa who start dating by Chris's best friend Mike is really there for Larissa more so then Chris is which misleads Larissa thinking that Chris is a really good guy but when they end up moving in with each other Larissa finds herself feeling blindsided by Chris's behaviour as this isn't the guy who she thought she was dating and it terrifies and she she thinks she has made a mistake. Mike who has only good intentions and wants his friend to succeed in his relationship, his deeds do turn sour as Chris feels like he is trying to steal his girlfriend. A mishap happens which leads Chris and Larissa to breakup but Larissa has lost her job and has no where to go so she moves back in with Chris and Chris changes his behaviour as he finally sees what it means not to have Larissa in his life.

Predator’s Gold by Philip Reeve

This book is action packed if nothing else.We start of with Hester and Tom on the Jenny Haniver where they need to stop to get some supplies. Where they stop they meet a man named Pennyroyal who is a historian, author and an adventurer. They give him passage.After flying for some time the Jenny Haniver comes under attack and they need to take refuge on the ice ship called the Anchorage where Freya is the royal princess of the land.Pennyroyal becomes the navigator to get the ship to America which was thought to have been a dead 'static' place. It eventually does come out that Pennyroyal is a crock.Hester leaves the Anchoridge after a misunderstanding but meets up with another group of people to bring them back to the Anchoridge and allows them to give her Tom as her predator's gold. It comes out Hester is Valentines daughter as well.

I have liked listening to the Mortal Engines series and I am looking forward to finishing it this week!

I also took some time to finish off some crafts so I am hoping to let you know how that went later.
