3 Books Read Week

This week I have listened to 2 audiobooks and read one book and they were alright.  The books read are..

1. Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz by L. Frank Baum

2. The Road to Oz by L. Frank Baum

3. Good Spirits by B. K. Borison

This is what I thought of each one

Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz by L. Frank Baum

This book is just its own story in the land of Oz.Dorothy, her cat Eureka and her friend Jep along with the wizard return to the land of Oz where Eureka gets into a lot of mischief along the way. After a long time there, Ozma does let the group go home!

The Road to Oz by L. Frank Baum

Dorothy is back in OZ and meets up with all of her friends in Oz as she journeys to OZ to Ozma's birthday.Dorothy is a fish out of water in Oz but loves being there. Of Course she gets in touch with Balina, her trusted chicken.Toto is along for this adventure as well.

Good Spirits by B. K. Borison

This book is super cute.We have Harriet and Nolan. Nolan is a spirit who is drawn towards Harriet and helps her find her voice with her job and family. The book does give off some The Christmas Carol vibes but it is so good in the end.It is a romance and we know that Nolan will have to go away as you can't 'haunt' the same person forever and Harriet makes it a goal to not forget him but there is always the chance.Harriet loves Nolan, but will she remember him when he all of a sudden disappears on her?

Overall, I think I have had a good week with books and that I am happy that I am reading all of them.  I am looking forward to listening to the rest of the Wizard of Oz series and I am considering listening to the Marry Poppins series afterwards, which I think would be a great idea!

I am currently reading Fake Skating by Lynn Painter and so far, so good with that one to the point where I want to be an automatic purchase with Lynn Painter going forward.

Until next time, happy reading and I’ll catch you on the next Dippit!
