It has been a good reading week and this is what I thought of each book!

Sheets by Brenna Thummler

I thought that this was super cute, we have Marjorie and she meets this ghost named Wendell. At first Marjorie is scared of ghosts but she ends up liking Wendell.Marjorie works for her families laundromat so it is nice that Wendel has come to her for a friendship.

Delicates by Brenna Thummler

Delicates was super awesome, where Marjorie and Wendel meet a new friend named Eliza.Marjorie and Wendel first meet Eliza when she is taking photos at the late and meet again in school.Eliza is have a hard time fitting in with Marjorie's friends and feels like they are bulling her.Marjorie apologizes but they are able to still be friends. Eliza and Wendel are friends as well and she isn't not scared by the fact that he is a ghost.

The Women’s Murder Club The Trial by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro

For never reading a BookShots from James Patterson before let along a book in the Women's Murder Club series, I was quite impressed by this teen novella. It is about a cartel lead named Kingfisher who is going on trail for murder when his cartel sets off guns in the court house to get him out of going on the stand.Elena who is a lawyer and was working on this trial is very angry that this happens as someone she knows dies. When she is at home 2 members of this cartel invade her home but she is able to murder them. This is where you find out that she is part of the competing cartel which is now on top due to what has happened to Kingfisher.

I Feel Bad: All Day. Every Day. About Everything. by Orli Auslander

I thought that this graph novel was pretty funny. It really is 100 things that she feels bad about being an adult, mother, lover and general woman and I do get it and agree with most of the things that she is saying in this graphic novel. It is a was a fun read.

Mochi’s Pugpy Hood by Gemma Gene

This graphic novel is about Mochi and pug and the cute stories of him growing up and being a pub. He thinks he is bigger than what he is and he likes to play a lot as well as getting in between his pet parents!

Living with Mochi by Genna Gene

This graphic novel is a bout Mochi and pug who gets adopted by a family who love him and what his favourite things are and how he is fitting into this family! He also likes all this food meant for humans and not dogs but he hates lettuces!

Lucas Wars by Laurent Hopman and Renaud Roche

I rather enjoyed this graphic novel. This graphic novel follows George Lucas and how he didn't do well in school but he met his wife in film school.George did American Graffiti with good reviews but his heart was set on making Star Wars. When making Star Wars he needed to create all of the effects him self so Industrial Light and Magic was created to help with that.It ends with the film's producers realized how successful Star Wars really is and how George Lucas is an awesome film maker.

Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry

This fantasy book is worth the ready and I am so happy that i took the time to read it!This book follows Odessa who is a Princess of Quintes. She is 'sold' or married off to another kingdom as their Sparrow (bride). It was supposed to be her sister Mae but their dad choice Odessa instead. In the journey back to their kingdom a solider of the kings named The Guardian is tasked with looking after Odessa. Odessa doesn't really like him but grows to by the end. There is a lot that goes down in this book and much of it I do not want to give away but it is really we are fighting creatures that we create and that no one is who them seem other than Odessa.

Little Bones by Sandy Bigna

This book is written in lyrical or poem form and I thought that it was a very good way to write this book. Due to this, the character development isn't there. It is about a boy nick named Bones and his brother named Tenny and his mom.Bones finds a bird who has died and he gets a book from the library called The Encyclopedia of Moon Magic. Bones is trying to bring the bird back to life.It is really about the circle of life.

Beatrice Zinker Upside Down Thinker: Incognito by Shelley Johannes

This book is about Beatrice Zinker who likes to think of things upside down or just plain differently.Beatrice and her friends decide that they are going to make plans that are mischievous so others don't know what they are going to do next. First they right them in Pig Latin and then in Morse Code. They have a lot of fun coming up with these ideas and then diversifying them and giggling when adults try to figure out what they are doing! At the end of the book they end up having upside down ice cream cones in a bowl!

I did enjoy reading all of these books this week and I am looking forward to what the next week brings me!
