Books Read & Reading Plans
This week I have only read one book but I have got some more reading plans and I have picked up some more books.
This week I read…
Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke
This is what I thought about it.
Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke
This book really did take me for the twist ending which I do like and did enjoy. We have Natalie, who gets married to Caleb and they shouldn't really be getting married. Caleb is not the brightest main out there but is willing to do whatever Natalie wants.Together they move to this old ranch called Yesteryear. Natalie starts an Instagram following and before you know it, she has become successful on it but Natalie doesn't really like her life and it does show through the camera. The chapters flip flop between Natalie's life in the present day to what Natalie thinks is 1885. You end up going through the book getting a hint of how Natalie built her following and how Yesteryear ranch is run and how fake she really is to only end up finding out far she is willing to do into her delusion of what really it is like to be a trad wife.
Overall, I think that it was a pretty great book. I am looking forward to seeing the movie that is going to be made out of it as well as I am sure that it is going to be a very great book.
The books that I picked up this week are…
1. The Lat Girlfriend on Earth by Simon Rich
2. Fantastic Beats & Where to Find Them Newt Scamander by J.K. Rowling
3. The Tibetan Book of the Dead
4. After You by Jojo Moyes
5. Too Late by Colleen Hoover
6. The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer
7. Twisted Love by Ana Huang
8. Matched by Ally Condie
9. Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
I am not too sure if I am going to read any of these books but the intention is there, which is always a good thing.
I am really happy with how this week went and I am looking forward into a new week with more reads!
