Reading 2 Books

This week I have read 2 books and they were…

  1. Nothing Like the Movies by Lynn Painter

  2. With a Vengeance by Riley Sager

This is what I thought about each one.

Nothing Like the Movies by Lynn Painter

This book is super cute. We are back following Wes and Liz in the college years. Wes ends up having to move back home after his first semester at UCLA due to his father's passing.Liz continues on with school and rarely, if ever, comes back to Omaha, so the two of them don't see each other until Wes comes back to school 2 years later.Liz is part of the film crew that is mainly focused on the baseball team, and Wes just happens to get back on the team after taking a break for so long. Wes and Liz are not over each other, even though Liz did get a new boyfriend. Will they end up together? Will they be part of each other's lives? Will everything work itself out in the end? You will have to read to find out for sure.

With a Vengeance by Riley Sager

This book follows Anna, who is trying to avenge the death of her parents and her older brother.she invites 6 people on a one-way trip from Philadelphia to Chicago in 12 hours. All 6 people have done something that is not good, but has something to do with the death of her family. There happens to be a stowaway on the train, and soon after he is discovered, after the first death on the train, 2 others are soon to follow.Who killed these people and why? Who will survive? Anna has to keep her wits about her to stay alive and discover who the killer is and why they are doing it.
