This Week’s Dippit Round Up

This week I have only read one book, and that was Not Quite Dead Yet by Holly Jackson.  It was a thriller, suspense, and the action kept on going right up until the very end of the book, which is what you want and what really surprised me, and what I wanted from this book and this author.  This is the second book that I have read by Holly Jackson, and it didn’t disappoint in any way, shape, or form.  I really did enjoy reading the book.

This is what I thought about the book.

Not Quite Dead Yet by Holly Jackson

This book is full of thrills, and I do appreciate that in this book!

It is about Margaret 'Jet' Mason, who gets 'jumped' in her own home on Halloween night and almost dies.

When Jet wakes up in the hospital, she is told that due to her head injury that if she doesn't get surgery, she will die, and if she gets the surgery on her head, she still might die.

Jet decides to spend this week discovering who her would-be killer is, and she discovers way more than she anticipated.

The ride keeps on going right up until the last chapter, and it is well worth the journey!

I am happy that I took the time to read this book and that it was actually pretty good.  I do have a few more books up my sleeve that I want to be reading and that I want to read and that I do plan on reading this week, but that is all in a week's work of duty, I think.

I am happy to say that I am thinking of doing brand-new shorts, which I am not too sure when they will start going up daily, but it is something that I do want to continue and I want to do.

I am going to attempt to read every day, even if it is for 15 minutes a day. I would like to read 75 pages a day, but I know that isn’t something that I will be able to do, and that is fine with me. The attempt is going to be there, and that is fine.

Happy reading, everyone, and we will see you next week’s dippit!
